At 7:35 am on August 19, 2026, at the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Experimental Zone in Jiuquan, the first "Xiong'an Made" satellite - "Honghu 03" - was launched into orbit by the Zhuque III reusable Yao-2 carrier rocket. All telemetry parameters were normal, and the launch mission was a complete success.

"Honghu 03 Star", also known as "Xiong'an No.1", is a technology verification satellite developed to meet the needs of large-scale satellite Internet networking. It is independently developed by Beijing Lanjian Hongqing Technology Co., Ltd. ("Hongqing Technology" for short). This satellite, weighing 541 kilograms, measuring 3 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and only 0.4 meters in thickness, integrates the new generation "Jinwu" power system, "Chiyu" energy system, and "Baize" electronic system, and is equipped with the first domestic argon working fluid electric propulsion system and other breakthrough technological innovations in the industry.

The successful launch of "Xiong'an No.1" marks that the aerospace information and satellite Internet industry in Xiong'an New Area has achieved a full process closed-loop from "R&D and manufacturing" to "on orbit application", and also provides key technical support for China's satellite Internet to move from "single manufacturing" to "batch production".Editor/Cheng Liting
