The domestic rail transit industry is steadily upgrading, and the overseas market continues to expand. CRRC has delivered an impressive half year report. The overall revenue has steadily increased, with abundant overseas orders and effective implementation of projects in multiple countries, demonstrating the global competitiveness of China's rail transit equipment.

Steady increase in performance

On August 19, 2026, CRRC released its 2026 interim report. Data shows that the company achieved a revenue of 131.682 billion yuan during the reporting period, a year-on-year increase of 9.96%. The various business structures are clear, with railway equipment business, urban rail and infrastructure business, new industry business, and modern service business accounting for 50.82%, 13.36%, 34.59%, and 1.23% of the total revenue, respectively.

The company's international operations have achieved significant results, with overseas operating revenue of 16.204 billion yuan during the reporting period, a year-on-year increase of 22.44%. The total number of newly signed contracts for the year was about 151.9 billion yuan, of which about 29.9 billion yuan were newly signed overseas, indicating a strong expansion momentum in overseas markets. The current rail transit industry is in an accelerated period of green and intelligent transformation, coupled with a mild global economic recovery, the overall demand of the industry is steadily improving, and market competition is gradually shifting towards comprehensive service competition across the entire industry chain.

Multiple breakthroughs overseas

In the first half of 2026, CRRC's international business achieved breakthroughs in multiple regions, and its rail transit equipment continued to consolidate its market base in Central Asia, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Africa. At the same time, the enterprise promoted the construction of key projects along the the Belt and Road in high quality, and the China Laos Railway, Ya'an Wanzhou High speed Railway, and Hungary Serbia Railway projects continued to operate smoothly. Among them, the Yawan high-speed railway has provided long-term and stable services to the people along the line, with outstanding demonstration effects.
