On August 23, 2026, a China Laos train loaded with thousands of tons of potassium fertilizer safely entered Guiyang International Land Port, ending its five-day cross-border journey. This special return train has landed in Guizhou with a new logistics clearance mode, solving the long-standing logistics development problems for local foreign trade enterprises and making cross-border trade transportation more efficient, cost-effective, and convenient.

Efficiency improvement and cost reduction through customs clearance
The arriving train is loaded with 40 standard containers and 1100 tons of imported potassium fertilizer, and will travel directly from Vientiane South Station in Laos to Guiyang. In response to the shortcomings of Guizhou's long overseas channels and high logistics costs in foreign trade development, a new customs clearance model combining local bonded logistics and railway express has been implemented. Goods do not need to be detained at the port of entry, and the port function extends to the local area of Guiyang. Enterprises can complete the one-stop customs clearance process at the Zhucheng Customs. At the same time, relying on the policy advantages of Guiyang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, there is no need to prepay import taxes for goods warehousing, effectively reducing the pressure on enterprise capital turnover and significantly reducing overall logistics costs. Bilateral trade upgrade
As a key node of the Western Land Sea New Corridor, Guizhou relies on China Laos trains to deepen economic and trade exchanges with ASEAN countries. The successful launch of this new train service has completely changed the previous situation of one-way export circulation for China Laos trains in Guizhou. It has established an efficient and direct return logistics channel between Guizhou and ASEAN, realizing a new trade pattern of two-way import and export circulation. It is reported that another round of potassium fertilizer return China Laos trains will arrive at Guiyang International Land Port in three days, and cross-border logistics transportation will continue to operate normally.Editor/Min Jing
