On August 23, 2026, a China Laos train loaded with thousands of tons of potassium fertilizer safely entered Guiyang International Land Port, ending its five-day cross-border journey. This special return train has landed in Guizhou with a new logistics clearance mode, solving the long-standing logistics development problems for local foreign trade enterprises and making cross-border trade transportation more efficient, cost-effective, and convenient.

The arriving train is loaded with 40 standard containers and 1100 tons of imported potassium fertilizer, and will travel directly from Vientiane South Station in Laos to Guiyang. In response to the shortcomings of Guizhou's long overseas channels and high logistics costs in foreign trade development, a new customs clearance model combining local bonded logistics and railway express has been implemented.
