Currently, Xinjiang Damei Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. has been commissioned to carry out environmental impact assessment work, and the basic engineering design bidding for key devices has been completed one after another. The preliminary preparations are steadily progressing.
Xiheshan Industrial Park is an important part of the layout of 1 city and 4 parks in Zhundong Development Zone. The abundant coal reserves and superior mining conditions here provide a unique raw material guarantee for coal chemical projects. The project construction system covers production equipment, public supporting facilities, and environmental protection facilities. The core production equipment includes air separation, gasification, transformation, gas water separation, phenol ammonia recovery, low-temperature methanol washing, liquid nitrogen washing and methane recovery, electrolytic water hydrogen production, ammonia synthesis, urea, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, UAN compound fertilizer, VOCs treatment and other devices.
At the same time, public utilities such as boilers, water supply and drainage, and various auxiliary facilities will also be constructed simultaneously. The production, office, environmental protection facilities, and roads throughout the plant area will be fully equipped. It is worth mentioning that the project has specially introduced an electrolytic water hydrogen production device, reflecting the development direction of green and low-carbon, and has strong demonstration significance in the field of coal chemical industry.
Diversified products release production capacity
The project is designed to run for 8000 hours annually, and upon completion, it can achieve an annual output of 400000 tons of ammonium nitrate, 600000 tons of urea, and 200000 tons of UAN compound fertilizer. Its production process takes the abundant coal in Zhundong as the core raw material, and through a series of processes such as raw material gasification and transformation purification, optimizes the synthesis gas hydrogen ammonia ratio to achieve the optimal production conditions.

The purified synthesis gas is used to prepare intermediate product liquid ammonia through an ammonia synthesis device, and then qualified agricultural urea and urea solution are produced through urea synthesis and granulation processes. The remaining liquid ammonia is further processed to produce products such as nitric acid, liquid ammonium nitrate, granular ammonium nitrate, and porous ammonium nitrate.
