In order to improve the local automobile manufacturing system and get rid of import dependence, Kazakhstan's official led industrial upgrading conference has finalized new ideas for cluster development and promoted the coordinated construction of the entire automobile industry chain.

Nurrabek Nalibaev, the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, presided over a special conference on the development of domestic automobile manufacturing, inviting multiple local automobile companies and government agencies to attend. Each enterprise reported on their current production capacity and future development plans. The meeting focused on core issues such as long-term order guarantee, capacity release, and increasing the proportion of local industries.

The official plan is to establish an automobile manufacturing industry cluster, integrate material supply, component production, supporting services, and scientific research and education resources, and build a complete and sustainable production supply chain. This model can expand production capacity, create new job opportunities, and comprehensively enhance the market competitiveness of the local automotive industry. The meeting emphasized the need to fully tap into the production capacity potential of local enterprises, adapt to market demands in multiple fields such as railways, continuously reduce import dependence, and consolidate the domestic industrial foundation. After the meeting, relevant departments have received special work instructions to steadily promote the improvement and expansion of the automotive industry.Editor/Min Jing
