Technological breakthroughs focus on strategic areas

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will focus on strategic areas and weak links in the industrial and supply chains, make up for shortcomings, forge long boards, and strengthen foundations. It will take unconventional measures to promote decisive breakthroughs in key core technologies in key areas such as integrated circuits, industrial mother machines, high-end instruments and meters, basic and industrial software, advanced materials, and biomanufacturing throughout the entire chain. At the same time, it will promote future industries such as quantum technology, biomanufacturing, hydrogen and fusion energy, brain computer interfaces, embodied intelligence, and 6G to become new economic growth points. Experts from the China Academy of Electronic Information Industry Development Research stated that the disruptive nature of future industries lies in reshaping the industrial landscape, driven by iconic products and large-scale replicable scenarios, to achieve breakthroughs from point to chain like leaps.

Demonstration base cultivates industry benchmarks

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will establish a national demonstration base for the development of emerging industries, focusing on key areas such as new generation information technology, new energy, new materials, intelligent connected new energy vehicles, robots, biomedicine, high-end equipment, aerospace, etc., and creating a number of benchmarks to lead the development of emerging industries. By 2035, we will strive to cultivate around 100 demonstration parks that have a radiating and driving effect on industrial cluster development, collaborative innovation, ecological optimization, and governance improvement, and around 1000 demonstration enterprises that are at the leading level in product development, technological innovation, business format innovation, and management efficiency. Application scenarios drive industrialization implementation
