On August 30-31, 2026, the Ambassador to Iraq separately visited Iraqi Oil Minister Hudayr and Electricity Minister Wahib.

Both sides agree that the strategic partnership between China and Iran is developing steadily and healthily, and practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results. The oil and gas and power industries are related to the national economy and people's livelihood, and are key areas of practical cooperation between China and Iran.
