Recently, a train loaded with 48 standard containers of automotive parts slowly departed from Tuanjie Village in Chongqing, transited through Urumqi, and was sent to Almaty, Kazakhstan. This is a landmark moment for the normalized operation of the Central Asia freight train project for automotive parts created by COSCO Shipping's logistics supply chain. Subsequently, 4 to 5 special trains will be operated steadily on a monthly basis to accurately connect with the westward export demand of the automotive and motorcycle parts industry in the southwest region. The Southwest automobile and motorcycle parts industry is accelerating its integration into the Central Asian market with the help of this cross-border logistics artery.

Four party linkage cross-border system
This project is jointly operated by COSCO Shipping Logistics Supply Chain Southwest Regional Company, Northwest Regional Company, Wuhan Jiyun Chongqing Company, and Jiyun Central Asia Company. It focuses on the export demand of the automotive and motorcycle parts industry chain in Southwest China, integrates domestic and foreign logistics resources, and creates an integrated cross-border logistics system from cargo organization to export transportation, cross-border connection to end of line distribution. The Southwest Regional Company relies on the advantages of industrial agglomeration in the Chengdu Chongqing region to handle export customs affairs and station to station mainline train transportation, strengthening domestic customs clearance transportation support. The Northwest Regional Company focuses on market development and customer expansion, continuously exploring business needs in the Central Asian direction.

Connect the entire logistics chain
Wuhan Jiyun Chongqing Company provides container support and door-to-door trailer collection and distribution services, opening up the front-end cargo collection channel. Jiyun Central Asia Company leverages its overseas network advantages to undertake overseas end of pipe delivery services and smooth the last mile of cross-border logistics. This train is loaded with 48 standard containers of automotive parts, marking the official start of normalized operation of the project. Subsequently, 4 to 5 special trains will be operated steadily on a monthly basis. A complete cross-border logistics loop has been formed through the connection of door-to-door collection and distribution, station to station mainline trains, and door-to-door overseas distribution. New channel for exporting spare parts
The Chengdu Chongqing region is an important automobile and motorcycle manufacturing base in China, with significant advantages in the agglomeration of the automobile and motorcycle parts industry, and sustained growth in demand for exports to the west. The normalized operation of the Central Asia freight train provides a stable and efficient transportation channel for the entry of automotive and motorcycle parts products from Southwest China into Kazakhstan and the Central Asian market. The opening of this train will effectively reduce the logistics costs of enterprises, shorten transportation time, enhance the competitiveness of Southwest Manufacturing in the Central Asian market, provide important logistics support for Chongqing Automobile Group's overseas expansion, and promote the deep integration of regional industrial and supply chains. In the future, with the stable operation of trains and the continuous expansion of cargo sources, this cross-border logistics channel will further leverage its economic effects and drive more Southwest manufacturing to enter the Central Asian market.Editor/Gao Xue
