Zhang Maoming stated that since the occurrence of the severe mudslide disaster, China has supported Nepal's disaster relief efforts in various forms. I believe that with the joint efforts of both sides, the people of the two countries will surely overcome the disaster and overcome difficulties together. Climate change is a common challenge faced by all mankind, and no country can be alone. China is willing to continue working with the international community, including Nepal, to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, effectively prevent and reduce the adverse effects of climate change.
Hiseer expressed that the Nepalese government sincerely thanks China for its generous assistance during times of crisis, and on behalf of the government, once again extends sincere condolences to the Chinese government and people. Nepal and China share the natural ecosystem of the Himalayas and are both countries affected by climate change. Nepal agrees with China's viewpoint that addressing climate change is a shared responsibility of the international community. Nepal has no intention of seeking "climate justice compensation" from specific countries, including China, and will seek compensation from the international community within the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and its Paris Agreement.Editor/Min Jing
