A railway is connecting the inland of East Africa with world ports; A set of Chinese equipment is silently laying a solid foundation for the steel rails. At the construction site of the sixth section of the Tanzania Central Standard Gauge Railway, with the roar of machines, the CRCHI complete set of sand and gravel aggregate production line was installed, debugged, and officially put into operation, continuously delivering qualified ballast and concrete aggregates for this key infrastructure project in East Africa.

Tailored plan according to local conditions

The sixth section of the project has a large scale and high standards, with extremely strict requirements for sand and gravel particle size, strength, and grading. It requires both track ballast and concrete materials for bridge and culvert subgrade. Based on the characteristics of local stone materials and construction standards, CRCHI did not simply copy domestic templates. Instead, they customized a three-stage crushing and two-stage screening process to produce high-quality ballast and multi specification crushed stones simultaneously on one production line. All finished product indicators met the standards, and the comprehensive utilization rate of equipment was significantly improved. Similar to the localized thinking of Chinese enterprises in overseas infrastructure construction, it is becoming the mainstream practice of cost reduction and quality improvement of the the Belt and Road project.

Provide hard protection for overseas working conditions

Tanzania's tropical climate is characterized by high temperatures and dust, with limited space and a significantly different operational environment compared to domestic conditions. CRCHI has thickened the equipment protection and heat dissipation, extended the service life of wear-resistant parts, squeezed the limited space into the flat layout, but reduced the operation logic, which can be mastered by both Chinese and local workers. Dust prevention and control measures are in place simultaneously, and the production line can not only operate smoothly, but also remain stable and environmentally friendly. Many Chinese equipment companies have listed high temperature, high humidity, and high altitude as basic parameters when going abroad, rather than after-sales patches.

Follow the entire production process to ensure smooth operation

Equipment drifts across the ocean, with long logistics cycles; The earthwork on site has not been leveled, but the construction period is stuck. CRCHI follows local employees throughout the entire process from planning, manufacturing, shipping, to installation, debugging, and training. With on-site service and remote expert support, various checkpoints are quickly resolved, and the production line is running on schedule. Both production capacity and finished product quality are on track with expectations. In the past, we relied on selling equipment on a single machine, but now we are focusing on system delivery and capacity transfer.
