On September 10, 2026, the Chinese Consulate General in Jeddah, Xinhua News Agency Riyadh Branch, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation News Agency Alliance jointly organized a media symposium and exchange meeting on the "New Era Governance Documentary" and the one-year anniversary of the Global Governance Initiative. Consul General Yang Yi attended and delivered a speech.
