The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Iranian Foreign Minister Alaghi will visit China on September 16, 2026, and Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister, will hold talks with him. China and Iran are comprehensive strategic partners, and both sides will implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state during the talks, deepen exchanges on bilateral economic, trade, and energy cooperation, and exchange views on issues of common concern such as the situation in the Middle East and global governance.

This visit will help consolidate China Iran strategic mutual trust, promote the joint construction of the the Belt and Road practical project, maintain regional peace and stability, and continue to promote China Iran friendly cooperation in various fields to go deeper and more practical.Editor/Min Jing
