Field leveling and running acceleration

The schedule on the construction site is refreshed every day. The project has fully entered the stage of site leveling construction, with the overall progress of earthwork excavation and filling reaching 90%, and the foundation dynamic compaction construction completed by about 67%. The slope treatment project will be intensively promoted and completed in September and October, and it is expected that the overall site leveling project will be fully completed by the end of October, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the main project. Only when the foundation is stable can the factory stand, and this schedule cannot tolerate any delay.

The project can run so fast not only because of mechanical horsepower. The Sinopec Dalu Coal to Olefin Upgrade Demonstration Project is fully invested and constructed by Sinopec Great Wall Energy and Chemical (Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 24.5 billion yuan and a total area of 4541.96 acres. It has a large volume, long chain, and strong driving force. With a large scale of land use and a long approval chain, Zhungeer Economic Development Zone actively breaks through traditional approval barriers, shifting from waiting for approval to relying on pre review and proactive service. By using parallel approval, acceptance of vacancies, full process assistance, and continuous promotion methods, it accurately matches the needs of enterprises for phased land use and phased construction. The land was purchased in four batches in an orderly manner, and the park completed the land clearing ahead of schedule. Once the clearing was completed, the site leveling construction was initiated, and the land delivery was seamlessly integrated with the on-site construction, minimizing the preparation period in the early stage.

A new journey of coal

The place where this coal needs to go is much farther than before. The project relies on Sinopec's independently developed core technology of methanol to olefin, from coal gasification to methanol synthesis, and then to methanol to olefin and olefin separation. The entire line is connected, and the localization rate of key equipment is high. It innovatively adopts a low-carbon development model of green electricity and green hydrogen coupling, allowing green hydrogen to be added to the production system, exchanging hydrogen for coal, reducing carbon emissions, and increasing efficiency. After reaching production capacity, it can achieve an annual output of 450000 tons of polypropylene, 350000 tons of polyethylene, and 100000 tons of EVA, with a total polyolefin production of 900000 tons per year.
