In the first nine months of 2026, Kazakhstan produced a total of 146541 vehicles of various types, a year-on-year increase of 34.2%. According to preliminary statistics from the Kazakhstan Automobile Federation, the country's motor vehicle production for the first nine months of 2025 was 1092230 units. In September 2026, local car companies produced a total of 20215 motor vehicles, an increase of 55.2% compared to the same period last year and a month on month increase of 32.4% compared to August 2026.

Anar Makasheva, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Automobile Federation, stated that data from the first nine months indicates that the country's automobile industry has maintained high-speed growth. She introduced that Almaty is promoting the manufacturing projects of Omonda and Jetour vehicles, and Kustanai is preparing for the production of Ideal Automobile. In terms of production output, the Kustana Alur factory leads the way, producing 56130 motor vehicles in the first nine months. Almaty Astana Automotive Manufacturing Kazakhstan Factory produces a total of 40245 vehicles of Changan, Chery, and Haval models.
