A batch of goods shipped from a Chinese e-commerce platform crossed the ocean and flew from Qiankai Port in Peru to Sao Paulo, taking a total of 30 days, which is about 10 days faster than pure sea freight. COSCO's new sea air intermodal transportation channel is gradually narrowing the distance between mountains and seas.

Qian Kai Transit Relay
Recently, a batch of goods shipped from Chinese e-commerce platforms have successfully arrived in Sao Paulo, Brazil. From Shanghai to Qiankai Port in Peru, and then transferring to a plane from Qiankai Port to Sao Paulo, the entire journey has been reduced to 30 days, which is about 10 days faster than pure sea transportation. The COSCO China Peru Brazil sea air intermodal new channel has been officially opened. This new path not only utilizes transoceanic sea freight to control the entire transportation cost, but also relies on regional air freight to compress transportation time in the South American section, balancing cost and timeliness, providing a new logistics choice for Chinese export enterprises to deeply cultivate the South American market.
Watch the entire process with one tracking number
This sea air intermodal transportation product was jointly designed by COSCO Logistics Supply Chain Aviation Logistics Company and COSCO Shipping Group Qiankai Working Group. It uses Qiankai Port in Peru as a transit hub to efficiently connect the Shanghai Qiankai direct shipping route with the capacity of Peruvian Brazilian Airlines. After the first shipment arrived at Qiankai Port by sea from Shanghai, it only took 48 hours to complete all port transfer operations, quickly connecting with outbound air flights and directly reaching Sao Paulo Airport. During transportation, relying on the COSCO digital platform, shippers only need one tracking number to access the entire logistics information. The smooth delivery of the first e-commerce cargo demonstrates the advantages of COSCO Shipping's integrated services of shipping, port and logistics, and also accumulates valuable experience for the innovation of cross-border logistics products in South America.
