Between the lonely smoke of the desert and the waves of the blue sea, the iron arm of China's ocean engineering once again lifted a steel city on the sea. Recently, the No. 1 slide of the Zhuhai Deepwater Equipment Manufacturing Base of CNOOC Engineering slowly lowered and accurately positioned the 1244 ton living building module. The comprehensive adjustment of Huizhou 25-4 oilfield and the lifting construction of the upper module of the living building module in the 5d well area development project of Huizhou 19-6 oilfield have been successfully completed.

Overview of Platform Scale

The Huizhou 25-4 project will build a new three story eight legged crude oil processing platform, with an upper block height of about 85 meters, close to a 30 story residential building, and a projected area equivalent to 13 standard basketball courts. The floating design weight is 29000 tons, making it the largest offshore crude oil processing platform in Asia. After the project is put into operation, it will serve the Huizhou 19-6 oilfield, which is the first domestically discovered large-scale 100 million ton level fully assembled oilfield of ultra deep clastic rocks.

Building a Maritime Habitat

The project design adheres to a people-oriented approach. The Huizhou 19-6A platform is equipped with a human factors engineering living building that can accommodate 120 people. Following the principles of safety, efficiency, comfort, and environmental protection, the main structure adopts a frame structure, and all living rooms are equipped with independent bathrooms. Optimize kitchen functional zoning to ensure food safety and improve dining experience. At the same time, small meeting rooms and entertainment rooms will be added, increasing the per capita usage area by 4.3%, creating a comfortable and convenient working and living space for offshore workers.

Breakthrough in lifting technology

This lifting operation abandons the traditional three-stage segmented lifting and high-altitude splicing construction method, and for the first time adopts the overall prefabrication integration and single crane one-time overall lifting scheme. With the help of a 3600 ton large crawler crane at the Zhuhai base, multi specialty and full process land integrated prefabrication of living buildings has been achieved, and a one-time overall lifting and positioning has been successfully completed.
