His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saker Al Qasimi, member of the United Arab Emirates Federal Supreme Council and Chief of Rasheima, has arrived at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport in Guangdong Province to officially begin a working visit to the People's Republic of China, which will last until October 23, 2026. This trip will visit multiple cities in Guangdong and Fujian provinces.

During the visit, His Highness will lead a delegation from the Emirate of Rasheima, which includes senior officials, leaders, and supervisors from various government departments and institutions in the Emirate. The delegation will hold a series of talks with Chinese government officials, business and institutional leaders to jointly explore cooperation opportunities in areas of common concern and explore the establishment of partnership.

UAE Ambassador to China Hussein bin Ibrahim Hamadi, UAE Consul General in Guangzhou Maryan Shanmuhi, and several Chinese officials went to the airport to greet him.

The itinerary for this visit includes His Royal Highness's attendance at the Las Haima China Business Summit held in Shenzhen, visits to multiple Chinese enterprises and institutions, and the unveiling ceremony for the Las Haima representative office located in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province. Subsequently, His Highness will travel to Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian Province, to sign the relevant agreement on establishing friendly relations between the Rashaima Emirate and Fujian Province as planned.

The bilateral relationship between the United Arab Emirates and China continues to develop. This visit is a continuation of the work carried out by the Emirate of Rasheima to consolidate its contacts with various provinces and cities in China, and further promote the achievements of His Highness's two visits to China in 2024. One of the important achievements of 2024 was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Emirate of Rashaima and Guangdong Province in November of the same year.Editor/Min Jing
