A computing power feast is brewing in the Al Saad area on the outskirts of Riyadh. Saudi AI company HUMAIN has placed a large order for a 100 MW data center, spreading hero posts worldwide. The bidding deadline is set for November 8, 2026, and this billion dollar contract is expected to stir up the Middle East's computing landscape.

100MW data center

The project is located in the Al Saad area of Riyadh, with a site area of approximately 350200 square meters. Initially, two single story IT buildings will be constructed, with four 25MW data halls to be delivered in two phases. In the future, an additional 100MW can be expanded to increase the total capacity to 200MW. The computer room is aimed at high-density GPU clusters and AI computing loads, and the heat dissipation adopts a combination of chip direct connection liquid cooling and air cooling. The cabinet power density is as high as 240-250kW, and it is equipped with high reliability power supply and distribution, UPS, and backup power generation systems.
