Less than an hour's drive south from Beijing Daxing Airport, the latest reliability test of the wheel rail attitude control power system is being completed in the production workshop of commercial rocket core components. In the industrial channel of coordinated development between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Beijing's aerospace research and development achievements are rapidly landing and transforming in Langfang Airport Economic Zone, and a northern commercial aerospace manufacturing highland is rapidly taking shape.

One hour cross city commuting to break through R&D conversion bottlenecks

The attitude control power system is equivalent to the steering wheel of spacecraft such as rockets and satellites, responsible for controlling the spacecraft's flight attitude and orbit adjustment in space, and is the core component to ensure stable flight and precise orbit insertion of the spacecraft. Previously, the rocket core component tests of Star River Power were all carried out based on the Southern Base, and the R&D team had to travel back and forth for three to four days, which directly extended the R&D cycle and made it difficult to improve iteration efficiency. After the trial operation of Xinghe Power Langfang Base in June 2026, the collaborative model of Beijing R&D and Hebei transformation has completely eliminated this industrial bottleneck.

Now, it takes less than an hour to enter the Langfang production workshop from the Beijing headquarters. The design plan completed in Beijing can be completed on the same day as the on-site acceptance in Langfang, truly achieving seamless integration of the entire R&D, testing, and production process, and directly doubling the overall R&D iteration efficiency. The recently completed maiden flight of the Zhishenxing-1 Yaoyi rocket, equipped with the orbital attitude control power system produced at Langfang Base, has met all design expectations. Currently, the team is conducting multiple rounds of reliability testing, continuously optimizing product processing technology, and laying a solid technical foundation for subsequent mass production on the assembly line.

Leading enterprises drive the formation of commercial aerospace industry clusters

Since settling in the Langfang area of the Linkong Economic Zone, Star River Power has transformed and produced nearly 100 core components of 11 patents here. Currently, the second phase of the base is being planned and promoted, and once completed, it will become the largest commercial rocket component research and development production base in the north. In the future, more than 110 patents and over 30 core components, including various types of rocket engines, supporting components, electrical systems, complete machines, and supporting components, will be transformed and produced at the Langfang base.

Relying on the leading driving effect of Star River Power, Langfang Airport Economic Zone focuses on precise investment attraction around the commercial aerospace track, attracting upstream and downstream supporting enterprises to accelerate agglomeration. As of October 2026, the area has signed a total of 114 key industrial projects with a total investment of over 75 billion yuan. We will continue to improve the local industrial carriers, fill in the gaps in supporting facilities, and provide talent service guarantees. We will make every effort to build a landing platform for the aerospace research and development team, allowing Beijing's scientific research achievements to be quickly transformed and landed in the air, and promoting the acceleration of the formation of a complete commercial aerospace industry cluster.

The precision machine tools in the workshop continue to operate, and the industrial dividends of the coordinated development of Beijing Tianjin Hebei are continuously being released.
