After nearly eight years, the German President will once again embark on a visit to China, visiting Beijing and Anhui. As the world's two largest economies, high-level interactions between China and Germany have attracted much attention, and both sides look forward to consolidating consensus and deepening cooperation during the talks and meetings to inject new impetus into bilateral relations.
Intensive high-level meetings
During the visit, the President of China will hold talks with President Steinmeier, while Premier Li Qiang and Chairman Zhao Leji will meet separately to exchange views on bilateral relations and issues of common concern. In addition to Beijing, President Steinmeier will also visit Anhui Province.
Wide prospects for cooperation
The healthy and stable development of the all-round strategic partnership between China and Germany, as the world's second and third largest economies, is in line with the interests of both sides. Mutual respect and trust have been the cornerstone of stability since the establishment of diplomatic relations 54 years ago, and mutual benefit is the key to success. President Steinmeier is an old friend of the Chinese people. China is willing to use this visit as an opportunity to consolidate mutual trust, deepen cooperation, and seek innovation, promote greater development of China Germany relations, and help China Europe relations achieve stability and long-term development.Editor/Min Jing
