In the first three quarters of 2026, Chongqing will accelerate the construction of key public transportation projects led by rail transit, with a cumulative investment of over 14.1 billion yuan. Chongqing Transportation Investment Group has completed a batch of municipal key projects with an investment of 14.18 billion yuan, achieving 77.5% of the annual plan and ahead of schedule. The orderly implementation of the dual line assault construction

The control project for the Shapingba section of the suburban railway from the central urban area to Yongchuan Line has recently started construction. The excavation of the Zhongliangshan Tunnel and various construction channels is steadily advancing, with a total length of 70 kilometers, 17 stations, a maximum speed of 140 kilometers per hour, and connecting multiple important hubs. The Bishan to Shiqiaopu section of Metro Line 27 has started joint debugging and testing, and has completed hot sliding.
