On October 25, 2026, Jinneng Holdings' Goudi Coal Mine project officially started construction in Gaoping City, Jincheng, Shanxi Province. A modern large-scale mine with an annual output of 5 million tons has entered the construction phase.

Construction of a 5 million ton new mine has started

Goudi Coal Mine is a key engineering project in Shanxi Province in 2026, and also the mine with the largest designed production capacity among the key coal mine construction projects during the 15th Five Year Plan period in Jincheng City. The project covers an area of approximately 70 square kilometers, mainly mining the No. 3 coal seam, with a geological reserve of about 572 million tons. The designed capacity of the mine is 5 million tons per year, with a service life of 52.6 years.

The total investment of the project is about 7.4 billion yuan, with a planned construction period of 52 months. It is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2030. The entire project construction process closely follows the deployment of intelligent construction in Shanxi Province's coal mines, promotes the construction of intelligent mines by classification and grading, expands the application scenarios of digital intelligence technology, and accelerates the deep application of artificial intelligence and technology in the coal field. The project team has refined the task list of time nodes, improved the coordination and promotion mechanism, optimized the approval process, and coordinated the bidding elements of the construction preparation project to ensure collaborative efforts. Continuous release of high-quality regional production capacity

Jincheng City is an important smokeless coal production base in China, with excellent coal resources and outstanding coal quality conditions. It has long undertaken the core task of ensuring regional energy supply. As of the third quarter of 2026, the total approved production capacity of coal mines in Jincheng City is about 132 million tons, of which the proportion of intelligent coal mine production capacity exceeds 82%.
