The supporting framework of a coastal new city is steadily taking shape, with underground pipe galleries and road networks jointly supporting the expansion and upgrading of the area. Chinese enterprises are deeply involved in the development of the Jeddah core area in Saudi Arabia, orderly promoting infrastructure construction, and laying a solid foundation for the improvement of local urban functions.

The main body of the pipe gallery has been successfully completed

The main structure of the service pipe gallery for Road 3 and Road 16 of the Jeddah Central Comprehensive Development Infrastructure Project, undertaken by China Harbour Engineering Group, has been fully completed. The next step will be to promote mechanical and electrical installation, pipeline laying, and road construction work, which will be undertaken by China Communications Fourth Navigation Bureau. The total project duration is 45 months, and it is planned to be completed by the end of September 2027.

The project covers a wide range of content

The project is located in the center of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and covers the construction of municipal roads, comprehensive pipe corridors, various pipe networks, supporting service buildings, bridges, and garden landscapes. The construction team needs to build approximately 1507 meters of comprehensive service pipe gallery, 324 kilometers of pipeline network, 18 kilometers of municipal roads, and 6 service buildings. Clear and distinct entities from all parties involved

This infrastructure construction contract is led by China Harbour Engineering. The project contract price announced by CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. and the total contract amount of the first phase four items announced by the owner have different statistical standards and cannot be treated equally. The owner belongs to Jeddah Central Development Company, a subsidiary of Saudi Public Investment Fund.
