On November 3rd, Ambassador to Ethiopia Chen Hai met with Ethiopian Foreign Minister Gedeon.

Ambassador Chen congratulated Gediong on his re-election as Foreign Minister, introduced the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC, and Gediong congratulated the successful conclusion of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and regional issues of common concern, and agreed that China and Ethiopia should further align their development strategies, continue to implement the important consensus of the leaders of the two countries and the outcomes of the Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation of the Forum on China Africa Cooperation, enhance political mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation, work together on the road to modernization, strengthen cooperation in international and regional affairs, and constantly enrich the connotation of all-weather strategic partnership.Editor/Min Jing
