On November 4, 2026, Director General of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Loong Boat and Assistant Undersecretary of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Hisa co chaired the third round of China Arab Consular Consultation in Abu Dhabi. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on topics such as China UAE consular relations, facilitating personnel exchanges, and safeguarding the safety and legitimate rights and interests of overseas citizens.

Both sides unanimously agreed to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, strengthen communication and coordination in the consular field, further enhance the convenience of personnel exchanges between the two sides, safeguard the safety and legitimate rights and interests of personnel and institutions, create safe and convenient conditions for cultural exchanges and practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries, and promote the continuous advancement of China UAE relations to a new level.Editor/Min Jing
