The oil storage platform-"Deep Sea One" energy station was delivered and set sail in Yantai, Shandong. "Deep Sea One" has many advantages

According to reports, the "Deep Sea No. 1" energy station will be towed by three high-horsepower tugboats from the Yellow Sea all the way south, and arrive in the Nanlingshui area of Hainan Island in February to implement on-site installation of oil and gas production facilities for the development of China’s first A 1,500-meter deep water self-operated large gas field-Lingshui 17-2 gas field.

The reporter learned that the "Deep Sea No. 1" energy station is composed of two parts, the upper module and the hull. It is built in accordance with the high-quality design standard of "30 years without back-to-docking for overhaul" and has a design fatigue life of 150 years. The energy station is equipped with nearly 200 sets of key oil and gas processing equipment. At the same time, it is the world’s first semi-submersible platform to store oil with a maximum oil storage capacity of nearly 20,000 cubic meters. It has realized the integrated functions of condensate production, storage and export, and has good performance The economic benefits and technical advantages.

"The size of the'Deep Sea One' energy station is huge, with a total weight of more than 50,000 tons. The maximum projection area is equivalent to the size of two standard football fields. The total height is 120 meters, which is equivalent to a 40-story building. It is equivalent to 3 medium-sized aircraft carriers. The total length of the welds of its hull engineering is as high as 600,000 meters, which can circle the Beijing Sixth Ring 3 times; the cable length exceeds 800 kilometers, which can circle Hainan Island for one week." At the launch ceremony of the "Deep Sea No. 1" energy station, CNOOC Chairman Wang Dongjin stated that in China in 2020, CNOOC will overcome many difficulties and complete many key tasks of the Lingshui 17-2 project.
