The construction site of the overall upgrade project (western section) of the urban sub-center line of the Beijing suburban railway is located in Fengtai District and Fangshan District, starting from Beijing West Railway Station and ending at Liulihe Station. The total length of the line is about 49.9 kilometers, 8 stations are set up, and the line from Changyang to Liangxiang Nanguan will be double-tracked.

It is understood that the project is an east-west core trunk line in the suburban railway network. After completion, it can greatly strengthen the rapid rail transit connection between the southwestern region and the central city and urban sub-centers.

The construction site of the overall upgrading project of the Northeast Loop of the Suburban Railway is located in Changping District and Chaoyang District, starting from Huangtudian Station and ending at Beijing East Station. The total length of the line is about 35.4 kilometers, with 10 stations set up, and the newly built double line and Guanghua Road branch line from Huangtudian Station to Beijing Chaoyang Station.

The project is an important route to the northwest and southeast of the main corridor of the suburban railway. After it is opened to traffic, it can effectively fill the gap in the diagonal rail transit line.

The construction site of the commuter transformation project of the southern section of the S2 line of the suburban railway is located in Changping District, starting from Nankou Station and ending at Huangtudian Station. The total length of the line is about 31 kilometers, 7 stations are set up, and the line electrification, double-tracking, and signal transformation are implemented.

This is an important route to the northwest and southeast of the main corridor of the suburban railway. After it is completed and put into use, it will further make up for the insufficiency of the diagonal rail transit line and provide great convenience for the surrounding citizens to travel.
