On April 29th, Serbia time, the S4 section of the Belgrade Ring Road in Serbia, contracted by PowerChina, was officially opened to traffic.

It is understood that the B4 section of the Belgrade Ring Road Project is located in the southeastern area of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The project involves the reconstruction and expansion of a one-way two-lane highway with a total length of 20.6 kilometers. As part of the Pan-European Highway No. 10 Corridor, the S4 bid section opened to traffic is 7.72 kilometers long. It is constructed by Power Construction International Corporation and Hydropower No. 5 Bureau of China Power Construction. It is a newly built expressway with two lanes on the left, including 3 bridges, 2 tunnels and 1 intercommunication.

The Belgrade Ring Road, as a construction project of an important traffic artery in Serbia, plays a role in connecting the lifeline of central and southern Europe. The construction of the project is of great significance to Serbia. In the future, it will greatly alleviate the traffic congestion in the capital city and promote the economic development of Serbia, facilitate residents' travel, further improve the air quality of the city, and promote green development. The construction of roads around the city and the upcoming subway project will enable Belgrade to develop into an international metropolis, improve the quality of life of the people and better protect the environment.
