On August 2, 2021, China Railway Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. won the bid for the new Changde via Yiyang-Changsha Railway Changsha West Station Station and related projects with 2.87 billion yuan. The planned construction period is 1095 calendar days and the planned start date is August 7, 2021. The planned completion date is August 7, 2024.

The project is located in Changde City, Ningxiang City and Changsha City, Hunan Province. Newly built Changde West Station Station of Changde via Yiyang to Changsha Railway, 12 stations 22 lines, the station type is the line-up type, with elevated waiting rooms and station buildings on the south and north sides, and east and west elevated drop-off platforms. The south side of the intercity field is the roadbed field, and the north side is the elevated field. The total construction scale of the Changsha West Railway Station comprehensive hub is designed to be 401,000 square meters, of which the station building project is 85,400 square meters; the platform canopy is 20,670 square meters; the urban corridor, municipal and railway parking lots and other offline supporting facilities are 10,600 square meters. Meters; 105,000 square meters of transfer channels, platforms and other supporting projects; 89,000 square meters of municipal supporting facilities.
