Changsha Rail Transit Line 7 is an encrypted supplementary line in the main urban area of Hedong in the third phase of Changsha rail transit construction plan, connecting the provincial government cluster, Muyun cluster, Hedong center and Xingsha area in the main urban area of Hedong. The first phase project of Line 7 (Yuntang Station-Wulipai Station) starts at Yuntang Station in Tianxin District, is laid along Huijin Road, Shaoshan Road and Bayi Road, and ends at Wulipai Station in Furong District. The total length of the line is 16.84 kilometers. , With 16 stations (including 9 transfer stations), with a total investment of 16.4 billion yuan, it is designed as the first fully autonomous driving line in Changsha, and it is expected to open and operate in 2027.

The first-phase project of Line 7 (Yuntang Station-Wulipai Station), the rapid reconstruction of Shaoshan Road, and the power tunnel project are all laid along Shaoshan Road.
