The Development and Reform Commission of the autonomous region and the Civil Aviation Xinjiang Administration have given strong support in project planning, site selection, approval, and funding. The project is an A1 general-purpose airport planned and constructed to meet the needs of the development of the aviation industry in Xinjiang and the improvement of the general aviation network layout and the economic and social development situation of Yecheng County. . The construction period is 2 years, and it will be completed and opened to navigation by the end of 2023.
