Recently, the new version of "National Highway Network Planning" was officially announced, and 3 expressways in Nanning City were newly added to the scope of the national highway network planning. According to the "Planning", Nanning has added three new lines, including the main line G4, the connecting line between Beijing and Hong Kong and Macau, G0412 Shenzhen to Nanning, the main line G75, the parallel line between Lanzhou and Haikou, G7522 from Guiyang to Beihai, and the main line G72, the parallel line G7221 from Hengyang to Nanning.

Previously, there were 4 national highways such as G72, G7211, G75, and G80 in Nanning City and many ordinary national highways such as G209, G210, G242, G322, G324, G325, G358, G359, etc., and 3 new national highways will be added. Further enhance the status of Nanning in the national highway network, and accelerate the construction of a main skeleton network of expressways in Guangxi, with Nanning as the center and radiating from the south, south, and northwest to the borders and seas.

3 national highways

The 3 expressways added to the "Planning" are the 4 rays in the Nanning Third Ring Road and Fifteen Radiation Expressway network, and are currently in progress in an orderly manner.

Among them, the G0412 Shenzhen-Nanning Expressway passes through Zhuhai, Jiangmen, and Yulin, and is the main channel connecting Nanning to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The Nanning-Hengzhou section in Nanning has been fully constructed and is planned to be completed and opened to traffic in 2023. The first 8-lane expressway built at one time.

G7522 Guiyang-Beihai Expressway runs through Tian'e, Bama, Pingguo, Nanning, Beihai and other places in Guangxi. It is a new highway to expand the capacity of the western land-sea passage. The Bama-Pingguo and Pingguo-Nanning sections in Nanning have started construction. The section to Nanning will be completed and opened to traffic within this year, and the section from Nanning to Beihai is scheduled to start construction in 2023.

The G7211 Hengyang-Nanning Expressway passes through Rong'an, Yizhou and Shanglin in Guangxi. It is an important channel connecting Nanning to the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
