Recently, a reporter from Seedao.com learned from the Hunan Provincial Department of Transportation that in 2023, Hunan plans to build four expressways, including Guanxin, Zhitong, Jingli, and Baixin, with a total of 199 kilometers. At the same time, the construction of 6 expressways including Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau Changzhou-Zhuzhou Expansion and Guidong-Chenzhou, totaling 450 kilometers, was started. Guanzhuang-Xinhua Expressway: It is an important part of Hubei Expressway. It starts from Muzhuopu, Guanzhuang Town, Yuanling County, connects with Zhangjiajie-Guanzhuang Expressway, and ends at Shuikoukeng, Langtang Town, Xinhua County, connecting with Changzhi Expressway highway. The main line has a total length of 76.581 kilometers and is constructed according to the standard of a four-lane expressway. It is planned to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2023.

Zhijiang-Tongren (Hunan-Guizhou border) Expressway: Located in the Wuling Mountain area at the junction of Hunan and Guizhou provinces, it is an important transportation channel connecting Hunan and Guizhou. The route starts from Aitouping, Zhijiang Town, Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, connects with the Changsha-Zhijiang Expressway, and ends at Shenaopo (the Hunan-Guizhou boundary) at the junction of Huaihua City and Tongren City. The main line has a total length of 33.48 kilometers and is constructed according to the standard of a four-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. It is planned to be completed and opened to traffic in the second half of 2023.

Jingzhou-Liping Hunan-Guizhou Boundary Expressway: Located in Jingzhou Miao and Dong Autonomous County of Huaihua City, it starts from Xinchong Junction, connects with Huaihua Section of Baomao Expressway, ends at Boundary Board of Hunan-Guizhou Boundary, passes through the Boundary Tunnel and has been built It is connected with the Lijing Expressway in Guizhou Province, which is open to traffic. The total length of the main line is 56.98 kilometers. It is constructed according to the standard of two-way four-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour.
