On February 28, 2023, the national public resources trading platform released the pre-winning publicity for the general contracting of civil engineering and site construction of the first phase of Jinan Urban Rail Transit Line 7. The project was won by a consortium led by the China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau. The total bidding price is 12.42 billion yuan.

Project Overview

The first phase of Jinan Rail Transit Line 7 is the backbone line connecting the central city and the starting area. The line is along Tourist Road, Zhuanshan West Road, the central axis of the International Financial City, Chemical Fiber Factory Road, Huayuan Road, Lishan North Road, Jiangjun Road, and the bridge Road, the Yellow River Bridge, and the planned Zongsan Road. The total length of the line is about 30 kilometers. It passes through the High-tech Zone, Lixia District, Licheng District and the starting area. There are 22 stations in total. The estimated investment is about 24 billion yuan, and the approved construction period of the project is 6 years. It is the second subway line in China and the first in Shandong to cross the Yellow River.

This bidding mainly includes preliminary works such as traffic guidance reform, part of the municipal pipe network and greening relocation and reform; civil works and field works of stations, sections and main substations.
