On May 25th local time, the 25th White City Ashgabat International Conference and Exhibition officially kicked off in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
This grand event brings together various forces from around the world, attracting representatives from government agencies, international organizations, financial institutions, real estate and engineering construction enterprises, as well as various technology suppliers to attend and participate in the exhibition. Ashgabat Mayor Gandimov introduced at the meeting that a batch of livelihood security and medical and health supporting facilities will be put into use locally in 2026, with a total investment of over 4 billion US dollars. The construction focuses on upgrading urban road infrastructure, modernizing transportation hubs, implementing intelligent transportation management systems, and improving the quality and development of urban logistics systems.

Gandimov stated that promoting the digital construction of urban environment and implementing the concept of smart city development remains the core focus of Ashgabat's urban development. The implementation of a series of large-scale infrastructure projects has also created vast space and valuable opportunities for overseas investors to settle in and develop.
