On July 12, 2023, the signing ceremony of the Pumped-storage hydroelectricity project cooperation agreement between the People's Government of Jishishan County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, and Gansu Gonghanglv New Energy Group Co., Ltd., China Railway 14th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. was held, marking new achievements in enterprise land cooperation and new steps in the development of new energy industry in our prefecture.

The Pumped-storage hydroelectricity project in Jishishan County is a key project included in the national pumped storage medium and long-term development plan (2021-2035). The estimated total investment is about 6 billion yuan, the total construction period is 70 months, the planned installed capacity is 750000 kilowatts, and the design annual power generation is 1.508 billion kilowatt hours.

After the project is completed and put into operation, it will not only effectively solve the problems of insufficient peak shaving capacity of the provincial power grid and the stability of new energy grid, but also undertake the tasks of system frequency regulation and equalization, effectively ensuring the safe and stable operation of the surrounding power grid, and providing energy guarantee for high-quality development.

Provincial state-owned enterprises cooperate to vigorously plan and strive for the implementation of distributed photovoltaic power generation, Pumped-storage hydroelectricity, national reserve forest and other clean energy projects, and strive to build a 10 million Kilopower integrated clean energy base for optical water storage and utilization.
