On July 20, 2023, the Shanghai Public Resources Trading Center released the announcement of the successful candidates for the total price contracting of the underground civil engineering construction of the Shanghai East railway station of the Oriental Hub. Shanghai Construction Group Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway 24th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. won the bid, with the winning price of 5.828 billion yuan.

Project Overview

The East Hub Shanghai East railway station Station Area Project is located in Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New Area, with Weichang River in the east, Jinting Highway in the south, Zhanqian Road in the west and Zhuqin Road in the north. The total land area is about 0.37 square kilometers. The main Structural engineering of underground works mainly include the foundation pit, foundation and main structure of Shanghai East railway station building, air rail intermodal transport module, urban atrium and corridor underground part, underground parking lot and equipment room, under municipal roads, simultaneous rapid transit reservation works, air rail logistics reservation works, long-term related line access reservation works, etc., with a total construction area of about 374600 square meters.
