On January 16, 2024, the preliminary design of the 300000 kilowatt wind power project for the National Energy Dachaidan 1 million kilowatt wind and solar energy storage project successfully passed expert review. This critical step has laid a solid foundation for the high standard commencement, smooth construction, and planned power generation of the project.
The Guoneng Dachaidan 1 million kilowatt wind and solar energy storage project is located in Xitieshan Town, Dachaidan Xingwei, Qinghai Province, with abundant regional wind and solar resources. The total installed capacity of the project is 1 million kilowatts, including 700000 kilowatts of photovoltaic installed capacity, 300000 kilowatts of wind power installed capacity, and 200000 kilowatts/80000 kilowatt hours of supporting construction energy storage.
This project is the first wind power project of Qinghai Company, intending to install 48 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 6.25 MW, with a total installed capacity of 300 MW. The wind farm plans to build a 110 kV booster station, which will be connected to the 330 kV side of the photovoltaic power station. After the energy is collected, it will be connected to the 330 kV side of the Yuka substation for transmission.
This milestone progress has injected new vitality into the National Energy Dachaidan Wind and Solar Energy Storage Project, marking a new stage for the project. The smooth progress of wind power engineering will help achieve efficient utilization of renewable energy and promote sustainable development of the regional economy.
