The Pakistan Country Office of the International Business Unit of China Railway Sixth Bureau has officially been awarded the bid notification for the N5 Highway Project in Pakistan.

It is reported that the project is located in the northern region of Sindh Province, Pakistan. It is a post disaster reconstruction and repair project for the 86 kilometer section of the N5 highway from Moro to Ranipur in Pakistan. It is also the first multilateral bank spot exchange project won by China Railway Sixth Bureau in Pakistan, with a total length of 86 kilometers, divided into two sections, and a total construction period of 2 years.

The official bid for the N5 highway project in Pakistan marks another important achievement of China Railway Sixth Bureau in the northern region of Sindh Province. This project mainly focuses on the reconstruction and restoration of existing roads, aiming to significantly improve the transportation situation in the area. The original section of the road was a two-way four lane road with a width of about 11 meters, crossing farmland, villages, and green belts along the way, and with multiple towns. According to the renovation plan, the project will comprehensively rebuild and repair the existing four lane highway, and add green belts in the middle of the road to further improve the traffic capacity and environmental quality of the road.
