On April 8, 2024, the opening ceremony of the Hohhot Aerospace Economic Development Zone construction project, industrial three-way pipeline network, and 100,000 square meters standardized factory building project was held in Saihan District, Hohhot City.

The industrial three-way pipeline network project and the 100,000-square-meter standardized factory building project started this time are urgently needed supporting infrastructure projects that the Aerospace Economic Development Zone has prioritized to implement in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the industrial projects introduced this year. Among them, the investment in the industrial three-way pipeline network is 58 million yuan, and the construction is expected to be completed in August this year; the 100,000 square meter standardized factory investment is 612 million yuan, and it is expected to be put into operation in September this year.

"After the Industry 3rd Road project is completed, it will not only realize the interconnection between the S29 Huliang Expressway and Shaliang Logistics Park, but also effectively solve the transportation supporting problems of enterprises entering the area. The construction of standardized factory buildings can be used for the third phase of the Carbon Hot Field, Hongying Botai Energy Storage Equipment manufacturing, Jiushi semiconductor equipment manufacturing and other projects will be provided with simultaneous entry into the factory. 2024 is a critical year for the comprehensive launch of the construction of the aerospace economic development zone. The Aerospace Economic Development Zone follows the "one zone and five parks" layout of industries, accelerates the construction of the Beidou Industrial Park, and builds six major industrial parks in one go. This year, the Aerospace Economic Development Zone will focus on promoting 57 industrial projects, of which 24 are signed projects and 16 will be completed within the year.
