On April 18, 2024, the Pengyin Northwest Big Data Industrial Park project, an investment attraction project in Wuqi County, officially started construction.

The Pengyin Northwest Big Data Industrial Park project is located in Changzheng Community, Wuqi County Urban Community Service Center, covering a total area of 92 acres. It plans to build 3 high-standard data center computer room buildings and put into production 8,068 standard data cabinets. The total planned construction area is about 69,000 square meters. m, the total investment of the project is 2.8 billion yuan. After the project is put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of 2.73 billion yuan, pay taxes of 180 million yuan, and create employment for 170 people. The first phase of the project was put into construction this year, with a construction area of 35,535 square meters. It is planned to build 1,620 6kW standard cabinets and 368 8kW general computing cabinets, equivalent to a total of 2,110 6kW standard cabinets. The total investment in the first phase of the project is approximately 810 million yuan, and is expected to be completed in 2025 It will be delivered in June.

It is understood that the Pengyin Northwest Big Data Industrial Park project is one of the key projects introduced and supported by Wuqi County to actively implement the national “digital data in the east” and “double carbon” strategies.
