Goldwind Technology successfully signed the first project in the Philippines

Recently, in Manila, The capital of the Philippines, Goldwind signed a landmark agreement with The Blue Circle (TBC), a leading renewable energy company in Southeast Asia - the Kalayaan 2 wind power project. The project, with a total installed capacity of 100.8MW, not only marks Goldwind's official entry into the Philippine market, but also expands its business footprint to 40 countries on six continents.

The Kalayaan 2 wind power project, located in the province of Neihu in the Philippines, will employ 17 GW165-6.0MW wind turbines. Goldwind Technology will be responsible for the project unit supply, transportation, hoisting, commissioning and other comprehensive services, and will provide long-term project operation and maintenance services for 10 years to ensure the stable operation and efficient power generation of the wind farm.

The project is owned by TBC, a multinational power company with operations in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia, which focuses on promoting the development and utilization of renewable energy in ASEAN countries. The collaboration with Goldwind is an important step for TBC to realize its renewable energy strategy in the Philippines and a win-win cooperation for companies from both countries to work together to promote the energy transition.

Dong Yinming, General manager of Goldwind Technology Asia, said that he was very grateful to TBC for its support and trust in Goldwind. This cooperation is not only a simple agreement, but also a solid cornerstone for the establishment of long-term partnership between the two sides. Dong Yinming said that Goldwind will fully support TBC to achieve its ambitious development vision and work together to promote the vigorous development of renewable energy in the Philippines.

Olivier Duguet, CEO of TBC, also has high expectations for the partnership. He stressed that the Kalayaan 2 project is a milestone for TBC and marks an important step for the company in the Philippine market. At the same time, he thanked Goldwind Technology for providing a comprehensive solution for the project and looked forward to further deepening cooperation between the two sides in the future to create a better future.
