According to China Power news, recently, the Guanling County Panjiang million kilowatt photovoltaic base project contracted by the Southwest Power company is fully connected to the grid.

The project is located in Guanling County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, with a total investment of 4.828 billion yuan and a planned capacity of 1330 MW, which is the largest photovoltaic power station in Guizhou province and the first million-kilowatt photovoltaic base in the province.

The photovoltaic field area of the project is mainly located in the deep rocky desertification mountain, covering an area of about 20,000 mu. The annual power generation can reach 1.329 billion KWH, which can supply about 1.99 million local households or 1.5 million kilowatts of industrial electricity, save 405,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 1.01 million tons of carbon dioxide every year.

It is reported that in order to practice the development concept of "photovoltaic + rocky desertification control" with ecological priority and green development, the project construction adopts the model of "photovoltaic + tourism + rural revitalization", and builds cultural element landscapes on both sides of the villages, highways, mountains and roads in the photovoltaic field area coverage area to create photovoltaic towns and drive rural ecological leisure tourism. Achieve coordinated development of social, economic and environmental benefits. Editor/Wang Tian
