The project is expected to be completed and put into production in July and August 2025. This is the largest single land area project in Banfu Town.

On February 27, 2024, the unveiling ceremony of the Economic Development Zone of Banfu Town was held, and the signing of 4 projects was held, with a total investment of 5.3 billion yuan, of which the total investment of the South China R&D and Production Headquarters Project of AIOT Smart Office IoT was 3 billion yuan, setting a record for the projects attracted by Banfu Town.

The construction area of the Sanao South China Regional Headquarters Project is about 700,000 square meters. It will create a garden-style ecological and harmonious community. The park planning is based on the design principle of "flowers in all seasons, fruits in all seasons, lakes in the garden, fish in the lake, and buildings in a staggered manner" to create a pleasant living and working environment.

Yan Dongping, Secretary of the Banfu Town Party Committee, said that Banfu will continue to exert its golden signboard of the provincial economic development zone, attract more leading projects and construction companies to land, accelerate industrial agglomeration and clustering, and strive to achieve a development pattern of 300 to 500 billion.
