On July 17, 2024, the public announcement of the winning candidates for the construction of the first phase of the integrated transportation center project of the integrated air-rail main project of Ningbo Hub has been released. China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Group Co., Ltd. intends to win the bid with a winning amount of 1.858 billion yuan.

Construction scale

The planned total land area is about 390 mu, and the total area of the planned new building is about 680,000 square meters, of which the above-ground building area is about 270,000 square meters and the underground building area is about 410,000 square meters. The main construction content includes the integrated transportation center project, underground parking lot and equipment room project, core area supporting service room project, passenger overnight room project, supporting business room project, and rail transit station civil engineering project, and supporting pipelines, roads, greening and other outdoor projects. The overall project has one to four basements, with a total foundation pit area of about 174,000 square meters. The construction site is located in Haishu District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, on the south side of the proposed T3 terminal of Ningbo Lishe International Airport and the north side of the proposed Ningbo West Station. The estimated investment of this project is 13.373 billion yuan, of which the construction cost is about 8 billion yuan.

Construction period: 960 calendar days, of which the vertical retaining structures of the A1, A2 and A3 foundation pits must be completed by the end of December 2024 and comply with the construction progress requirements of the main project.

As a major hub project serving Ningbo, the entire province, the Yangtze River Delta and the national strategy, through the integrated design of air and rail, the project will realize the sharing of multiple transportation resources such as aviation and railways, improve resource utilization efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and provide strong support for regional economic development.
