On August 6, 2024, in Quang Tri Province, Vietnam, the construction of the 48MW wind power project in Huong Hoa, Vietnam, jointly contracted by Shanxi Electric Power Survey and Design Institute of China Energy Engineering Group and Anhui Electric Power Construction Second Engineering Co., Ltd., officially kicked off. The start of this major project not only marks a solid step forward in the cooperation between China and Vietnam in the field of new energy, but also adds to the achievements of Chinese companies in overseas clean energy construction.

The project has an installed capacity of 48MW and aims to provide Vietnam with clean and renewable energy solutions through advanced wind power generation technology. The project not only covers an efficient 220 kV booster station, but also includes a 5.5-kilometer power transmission line and the expansion of the opposite substation, which fully demonstrates the comprehensiveness and systematicness of the project.
The implementation of the Huong Hoa wind power project in Vietnam has far-reaching significance for improving Vietnam's green energy supply capacity and optimizing the energy structure of Quang Tri Province and even the whole country. It will effectively promote local economic development, reduce environmental pollution, and inject strong impetus into the development of new energy power in Vietnam. The strong alliance between China Energy Engineering Shanxi Institute and Anhui Electric Power Construction No. 2 Company has demonstrated the technical strength and cooperative spirit of both parties in the construction of wind power projects, and has also added a strong stroke to the brand influence of Chinese companies in overseas markets.Editor/Zhang Liyuan
