Wenfu high-speed railway, as a key construction project planned to be launched in China in 2024, its preliminary work is steadily advancing. In May 2024, the project has successfully crossed the threshold of engineering feasibility study review and officially entered the deepening stage of feasibility study. At this stage, the State Railway Group particularly emphasized that the planning of the Wenzhou section of the line and station should be closely combined with the Oujiang River crossing plan to carry out more detailed comparison and optimization.

At the end of August 2024, the initial geophysical prospecting procurement of the Oujiang North Exit Tunnel Project in the east direction of Yueqing from the Wenzhou hub was officially launched, marking that the specific implementation plan of the Wenzhou section may have stabilized, indicating that the project is about to enter the critical stage of feasibility study and preliminary testing.

This series of progress not only demonstrates the efficient and orderly progress of the Wenfu high-speed rail project, but also indicates that this important transportation artery connecting Wenzhou and Fuzhou is about to turn from a blueprint into a reality.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
