Recently, good news came from the construction site of Dujiacun railway line in Hengshui. The No. 42 turnout of the second group of Henggang high-speed railway has been successfully laid into the upward line of Shiji passenger dedicated line, connecting the two railways and ensuring the timely opening of the line.

The Henggang high-speed railway connects Hengshui and Huanghua Port in Cangzhou, with a total length of 224 kilometers. The turnout connection belongs to the key control engineering of the project, and a set of No. 42 turnouts needs to be laid on both the upper and lower sides of the Shiji Passenger Dedicated Line. A single set of turnouts is 157.2 meters long and weighs 252 tons, which can increase the speed of trains passing through turnouts and reduce the time required for line transfers.
Liang Yanguang, Chief Engineer of China Railway Fifth Bureau, stated that the construction is adjacent to the operating Shiji Passenger Dedicated Line, and the working space is limited. The project department builds a dedicated pre laying platform, and after assembling the turnouts outside the site, they are moved as a whole with the help of roller equipment to achieve precise installation. The Henggang High speed Railway was built with investment from the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Intercity Railway Investment Company.
