The main stage of the event was set up in the Huyanghe Economic and Technological Development Zone, focusing on the 30,000-ton lithium carbonate project site of Xinjiang Chifeng Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., and at the same time, a total of 16 sub-venues were set up in the Tianbei Economic and Technological Development Zone, state-owned enterprises and multiple group venues, forming a spectacular scene of multi-point flowering and synchronous advancement.

Xinjiang Chifeng Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., as a leader in the field of chemical raw materials and products manufacturing, launched the 30,000-ton lithium carbonate project with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan, aiming to achieve the green transformation of hazardous waste through technological innovation, achieve the goal of reduction, recycling, and harmless treatment, and promote the comprehensive recycling of resources. After the project is fully completed, it is expected that the annual sales revenue will reach 8.9 billion yuan, the annual tax contribution will be 1.3 billion yuan, and 320 jobs will be created, injecting strong impetus into the high-quality economic and social development of the city.

As a hot spot for the start of construction, the Huyanghe Economic and Technological Development Zone has launched a total of 13 projects covering new energy, new materials and other frontier fields, with a total investment of 5.66 billion yuan. Among them, Xinjiang Chifeng lithium carbonate project, the second phase of the Guangtou Guidong high-pressure foil project, the Heyuan Zhengda L-tryptophan project and the Ruijiangshun engineering ceramic materials project are all in full swing, which not only demonstrates the important position of the development zone as the main battlefield for investment promotion and economic development engine, but also shows the firm determination and strong motivation of the division and city to promote the project with investment, promote development with the project, and lead the overall situation with development.

Wang Yuanji, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Huyanghe Economic and Technological Development Zone, said that the development zone will continue to uphold the development concept of project as king and implementation as the largest, relying on advantageous leading enterprises, extending the industrial chain, improving the value chain, and building an industrial development system with distinctive characteristics. The 88 projects that started this time are widely involved in a number of emerging productivity fields such as new energy, new materials, and biotechnology, including 21 major projects of more than 100 million yuan that are invested by the government to ensure people's livelihood, social capital-driven industries, and state-owned enterprises to lead innovation.
