Mid-September 2024 marks another milestone for Shaanxi Construction Group in the Saudi Arabia market, with the official start of the construction of Aramco's two employee housing complexes in Harad and Oudaishi. The project was driven by two well-known developers, Rama Holding and Asyad Group, and awarded a comprehensive contract including design, procurement and construction to China's powerful Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group through its joint project company, First Developers Real Estate Development Company.

With a cost of more than SAR 1.5 billion, the project aims to address the housing needs of Aramco's 2,800 employees in the remote areas of Harad and Oudaishi, providing a state-of-the-art residential environment with a total area of more than 140,000 square meters. This important move is not only another major victory for Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group in the Saudi market, but also indicates that its influence on the international stage continues to increase. As early as the beginning of 2024, Shaanxi Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. has successfully signed a comprehensive residential and industrial complex project in the two regions through Huashan International Engineering Saudi Arabia Co., Ltd., with a total contract value of up to RMB 1.856 billion. The official start of the project marks that the project has moved from blueprint to reality and entered the substantive construction stage.
